People smoked and ate fattier foods back in the day but they hadn't as many things interfering with the heart rhythms as we do. Plates of Veg are good for the bowel and gut......

The da gave up smoking in his 40s - used to smoke Major, probably 40 a day. He was delighted when a nurse in Beaumont asked if he ever smoked, looked at his charts and told him he got away with it as there was no evidence there.

Physically stronger and walked everywhere probably. My auflella used to walk from Cabra to the East Wall and back after lugging crates and feeding draught-horses. We're softer and flabbier and being bombarded by electronic waves everywhere we go. Also, none of our food is natural anymore.

All very true,lippy all very true.someone once told me the reason shopping is so tiring is that with all the cables within the shops lighting,cables communication cables,etc etc that it saps your energy and leaves you drained.I dont know if its true or not,but I suppose its possible

Dentist told me yrs ago the lads who don't eat sweets tend to have more teeth pulled later than those who do....asked him about genetics and he said, "oh, yas, fargot about them". Never ate chocolate or cakes but still put on weight if I look at them..........genetics dear boy....bad genes.

Has to be true Dalyer...them fucking LED lights on newer cars blind me every time I come across them...she even went and bought a Panasonic LED TV from Power City after me warning her about eye-strain and retinal damage....
