- A group of 25 to 30 Secondary School children, from Maynooth, have just returned from a skiing holiday in Italy.
- The group stopped off for a meal in one of the Italian Towns that were subsequently shutdown by the Italian authorities less than 24 hours later.
- Upon arrival in Dublin, despite identifying themselves as a potential risk, they were NOT examined or screened and were released on their way.
- Several parents that have expressed concern over possible exposure to the COVID-19 have been told to stay quiet.
- Not one member of the group was advised to self isolate and are free to move amongst the North Kildare community.
