Not knowing anything at all about Cricket, but why are England still 1/10 to win ?
Please excuse my ignorance.

England are batting well if they can get a 350+ lead by lunch tomorrow they will set Ireland a target that they really cannot reach so if England can Bowl Ireland out in a day and a half they win .BUT if they cannot get such a big lead they will set the field to reduce 6s or 4s so the Draw then becomes a decent bet .1/10 is not a betting proposition .

You shoulda laid that 1/10, Ken. They were never a 1/10 chance. Probably closer to Evens now. Draw probably c.100/1. The night watchman made the highest contribution so far, remarkably scoring more runs than the entire team in it's first innings.

303-9 at what we can assume is the close of play - actually came off for light and the threat of rain but 18:30 is the deadline for any resumption of play. I'd suggest England will be happy enough to have broken through 300, probably marginal favourites going into day 3.

They will look for weather and light to drag it out .weather for tomorrow is for rain .

Ireland or England? England ought to fancy bowling Ireland out in 2/3 of a day, Ireland ought to think they can win within a day so either way I'd suggest more than a full day would have to be lost for a draw. However, I wouldn't be backing either team to win at the odds, the game is (maybe a little optimistically) very much in the balance so a draw could still be the best option for a throwaway fiver... at 200/1 it'd be the pick for an interest bet I guess.

200/1 your betting on the weather .If there is a torential downpour the outfield might become unplayable that will take half a day to sponge .
