Just listening to the head of BP he says profits are down due to costs .Arabs need higher oil prices Scum of the Earth Yanks who have their own oil are imposing sanctions ,Venesuela has nearly stopped pumping and civil unrest in Libia .He recons as much as 30% increase in oil prices on the way .So how much for a drop of Diesel on X mas Day .

 My guess 1.78 .

Not really merc if it goes up then electric and gas go upless disposable income less people using taxies .We get hit in more ways than a battered wife in Ballymun .

Just laugh at it all.....we're living in an asylum here............

First they came for the Socialists
I did not speak out because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unions
 I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews- I did not speak out- because I was not a Jew.
 Then they came for me
and there was no one there to speak for me.

Ermy if any of us are having problems paying our gas or leccy bills we will have bigger problems to worry about.Most of the bills are carbon taxes and service charges.You know that already though.

It's your competition, so it's your rules John M.
May I be as bold as to suggest these rules to you;

How much will Diesel cost at 12 Noon on Christmas day 25th December 2019 ?

Results will be taken from the average on the AA website;
https://www.theaa.ie/aa/motoring-advice/petrol-prices.aspx#
which shows the average diesel cost.

The Rules;
Circle K or any other discounts do not apply,
(It's the average price shown on the AA website on the day that counts).

Thats the problemthe oil companies are getting pennies while governments get too much tax and duty .Some poor cunts think the idea of minimum gargle prices is to save our health the real reason is to raise more tax and duty .I was shopping around for a car loan dont like spending me few quid savings lad told me Public servants use to be prime borrowers but with government cutbacks and the risk of government pension cuts public servants are now finding it hard to borrow .Read a government report says our tax take has to increase by 4% per anum just to pay outstanding debt and commitments .Cant come from wages so property tax duty on fueland alcohol carbon tax anything they can sell us as good for us but in reality its just revenue raising to pay the bills

Today's quote on the AA website is 1.37.
Your guess is in at 1.78.
Split the difference (20.5) and the count is at 157.5.
I would take a Ton on 157. and under but I'll gift ya 5 points, and I'll have a Ton on 152. and under on Christmas Day 2019 ?

I went to Navan Races Sunday to watch Capri being beaten .He is Aiden O Briens Gold Cup Horse .I told Aiden he was wrong Kew Gardens should be his Gold cup horse he is not good enough for mile and a half races but would win a Gold Cup with his head in his chest .Kew Gardens is entered in the Jockey Club Stakes on Saturday hope he gets beaten just to prove me right and Aiden will sit up and take notice .I might go to the bookies Saturday In the last big Handicap Mullins horse at the bottom of the handicap wins .
