Dunno the rules on sharing the data, BS. I can't remember when I last had my passport stamped in an EU country but I do recall a lady in front of me at the queue to get into Italy requesting a stamp a few years back and being politely refused. I got a whole heap of stamps on a day trip to Morocco this year though, two stamps in and two stamps out so I suspect you have to leave the EU to get stamped.
Day trip to Morocco, pourquoi? Ah probably Tangier from Spain? One of the few cities there that I haven't visited. Heard that it's a bit tired now. Used to be the "playground" of movie stars in the 50s.

Yeah, Tangier... made a change from Gibraltar for the duty free... it's very touristy, especially when you're on a guided tour as I was.

They have the day trip routine down to a fine art... up the hill for a photo with a camel (I got a photo with a clapped out shitebox of a taxi instead), a quick look at the Kasbah followed by a walking tour stopping for a "traditional" lunch before being herded into a carpet shop for a hard sell followed by a snake oil shop for another, slightly more amusing, hard sell then back on the ferry to stock up on duty free.

Love trips but hate that visit to the local tourist rip off market, the trip to Mexico many moons ago and to the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza....great trip....but they love the Americans cos they think they're the only ones that tip....so after a while we didn't disappoint.

We had two guides... Dave (pronounced Dive) from Essex took charge in Spain, collecting a coach load of us from various Hotels and teaching us how to write our names on the visa forms, etc... then we had Pedro to lead us around Tangier with Dive following on to make sure nobody escaped... then back with Dive to the safety of our Spanish resorts... most of the herd laden with bottles of cure everything lotion!

I enjoyed that pitch to be honest... there was a bottle or powder for everything from impotence to snoring, from massage to aromatherapy. All priced at a tenner with the magic buy two and get one free... after the various demonstrations the lad just handed out plastic bags and started filling them, most of the group left some hard earned behind.
