Thanks DMG, but it is the Challenge of restoration that would excite me (if'n I won the Lotto).
I don't want to buy what someone else has restored.
So you want to restore it yourself Ken
First off ya need a workshop..
Then you need an education in mechanics ,bodywork ,auto electrics,etcetera...
Then you need an enormous amount of money impossible to quantify from a photo or without specialist knowledge..
Then you need to retire because this I'll be a full time job for about 5-10 years whilst you learn what your doing....
Its junk ...plastic, glass, iron ,junk....juice guzzler ...nostalgia, romance or watever ya have for this heap of shite ..put it out of yur mind..
Why wud you bother...with a yoke that will be totally impractical, left hand drive, a fortune to run and insure......
For you to live your dream fixing this personally....your looking at couple 100 k plus your loss of earnings...plus bout ten yers.....
It wud break yur heart an your pocket....
