Probably depends where you go. London, like most cities, is multicultural but, again like most big cities is probably more geared towards what we used to call Yuppies hence folk raising families are more inclined to commute and it wouldn't be on many folks top ten list of places to spend their retirement years. North of the city is traditionally where the Paddies settle, there's probably more Irish culture (certainly as far as ceol agus craic is concerned) in Cricklewood than on the whole island of Ireland.
