^^^That's very true Daly tips are finished with card payments. Those 7 quid jobs where you get the tenner will be a thing of the past.Nobody tips on cards.

Not if you ask them, on cabapp it asks you to add tip i always make sure its in the customers hand and let them decide to tip or not, 8 out of 10 do probably because they are embarrassed not to  but fukk em
Always tap "No" before I hand it to them" Call it the sin of pride. I asked Cabapp if they could remove that facility for me, they said "No"
"So look into the mirror, do you recognise someone, is it who you always thought you would become, when you were young?"

I always tip but have given up on expecting tips anymore. The fares aren't so short these days with the traffic.Just another unexpected consequence of taking credit cards or covering app work.

Many tourist ask me if they should tip as they've been told not to before they get to Dublin. My answer is always if you get a good service tip if you want.

I would be the same as you Harry, I thought it cringe worthy to be handing over the reader and ASKING fer a tip.
Thankfully Sum-up don't have that feature.

The non-tippers that really bug me are the early morning running late FN customers.
Fer instance I had this young lad from Glasheen in Cork last week going to the Aer coach fer a 7am bus of a Sunday morning, in he sits at 6.53 giving out stink about how his booked FN driver had cancelled on him, it's a 12 minute journey from Glasheen to the Aer coach and I tell my customer along the way; "We will be tight on time but when we get there I will pull in in-front of the Aer coach so as he cannot drive off without you". He laid the mountain of praise upon me as I completed the approx 12 minute journey (semi-illegally) in just over 5 minutes. Did he leave a Tip ?  Nada !

I know Everytime we go on away trips with the football club, there is ALWAYS  a collection for the driver. Now in fairness he could be going to cork, or Derry, etc but even if it's only Dundalk, or droghteda, there is still a collection for him
