I don't pay too much attention to politics but Mary was driving around my area in a tinted shiny black Ranger Rover on a megaphone encouraging people to go out and vote.Hardy the vehicle choice of the average Joe.Looked like something you'd see the Royal family in.

Think people saw through the new fluffy Shinners putting women forward as candidates trying to change their image .Shinners were a United Ireland hard left party and were supported as that now they are Labour crossed with a pub Quiz team nothing to offer .They need a Hard border and to start doing what they did to regain any creditability .The Screaching Housewife is not a patch on Martin Mc Guinness a dedicated focused Politician as soon as he passed and the Millionair Adams retired on many of his pensions and possibly ill gotten gains the Party is leaderless after the Presidential election results and losses in Europe and local I think they need to change the Mouth she is only a Cabaret Act entertaining to listen to but no real substance .A vote for the Shinners is a vote wasted .They wont attend Parliament or Stormont while Irelands future is decided by British voters .Thats as near to Treason as you can get deserting your post in time of greatest danger .

About 52 there are more if you include NI and The Jocks who are pro europe .27 is an outright victory in the open seats . the Unionists or Shinners in the north seats are not inplay .

Although this was a vote for euro parliament ,I think in the UK it was a clear opportunity for voters to show how they still feel about brexit,and to some extent reflects how they would vote if there was a second referendum.

second referendum wouldnt solve anything might be a no but by only a % or two so nothing would change .Remember the Liberals were the biggest Political Party in Britain in the 1800 s they were wiped out by Labour If the Tory Party dont deliver Brexit they will be wiped out for generations .If Boris gets the Gig I think he will call a snap election and if he wins it then he tells the EU its his deal not Mays or they walk without a deal .Either way going to be bad for Ireland .

NO His party are not in government .Here is one out of left field .None of the Major Groups in Europe are strong Christian Democrats or Liberals so who gets the Presidency .Whoever gets the presidency the other Group gets the head of the ECB for balance SOOOOOOOOO.Could Enda be a compromise candidate for the Presidency with a German getting the ECB ?

I was away for the weekend so aside from checking the locals in my own area I only caught snippets on the wireless... from what I heard the shiners done well in a few (disenfranchised) pockets e.g. with 3 out of 5 seats in Tallaght South. My own first and second preferences Grainne Maguire (IND) and Seana Ó Rodaigh (LAB) were both elected to Fingal CC on the 9th count in the beautiful seaside resort town of Balbriggan. Alas, Alex White won't be representing the greater Dublin area in Europe.
It was good to see some immigrants among the candidates for the locals although I don't think many were elected. I think the aforementioned Tallaght South elected one to South Dublin CC and Blanchardstown/Mulhuddart elected one to Fingal CC. I'm pleased that every ward within Fingal CC returned a Labour candidate except Ongar, encouraging for the future. Outside of that I guess one must congratulate the Greens on their recovery... at the very least it will bring the environment to the fore in other parts going forward.

In Europe she has done well....Herself and Farrage are needed in therfe to pretend they give a counter-argument to the mainstream Christian(?) Democrat/Green Alliance. Think you'll find their kids all go the same schools and get similar jobs after attending The Sorbonne and Oxbridge though, Dalyer.

THe European Commission make the Laws the European Parliament just there for window dressing .The only Parliament outside China ,North Koprea ,Russia ,that CANNOT MAKE LAW only confirm what they are told to confirm .Not one single member of the Right will get a job in the European decision making Council .The cracks are between France and Germany But the Shit sitting in front of the airconditioning is will Italy overplay their hand and put the whole lot back into turmoil .Greek election might send out a few shockwaves ,Britain Crash out .None of these things depend on the Right to bring the whole lot down .
