1 of my door stickers is half torn off so will need 1 for the suitability test, the other one is ok, its on a few years so will probably be a good bit more faded than the new one. would you get 2 new stickers or just the one? at 45 euro each they are a serious rip off for a bloody sticker ::rant

€30 for one sticker in Stuarts place in Finglas....but take off the old one and clean it up yourself...cos they charge for that!!

I had a politician in the cab recently and he was asking me about removing my 'MyTaxi' branding as he knew that I was soon to be re-branded to 'Free Now'.
He told me that he had stickers on his own car fer the last election, after the election he took off the stickers and using WD40 and a variety of other products he could not remove all the glue/residue, so he went to the 'Grand Prix' motor store in Cork and they gave him a glue removal gel which did the trick.

Nail polish remover is great at removing sticker glue

I wouldn't call them my 'Employer' but anyway, Yes, they do look after the removal and re-fitting of any branding fer Free and just to give them some credit where deserved, if you decide not to continue to be an Ambassador then they will de-wrap your vehicle fer Free.

No, the MyTaxi free de-wrap if required is offered by the same company as do the wrapping, MyTaxi pay them per job and unlikely any sign company would like to lose that juicy MyTaxi/Free Now contract by doing a shitty de-wrap job and seeing it plastered all over the internet.

The drivers and their cars weren't dragged in off the street....they went willingly......also,the wrappers ask if any of the bodywork to be wrapped was ever damaged/repaired as when the wrap is eventually removed it could cause paintwork to be removed also.

I voluntarily had my cab branded with MyTaxi stickers about Two years ago, it was my choice at the time, they paid me 100 Euro to do it, and then they gave me a Fuel card offering me 8 cent off per litre at Circle K garages and 50% off on car washes and then provided me with more work than I could ever handle !

Damaged TFI door stickers remove the paint too... at least they do if you ignore the damage for a couple of years.

Weird... given that it's Free Now / mytaxi / Hail0 that recruit all the immigrant drivers... and given that, unlike traditional dispatch firms, Free Now require full-time drivers to share their work with, and subsidise, part-timers... and given that Free Now charges it's best drivers in excess of treble the freight charged by traditional dispatch firms.

They are probably giving them treble the work,but that aside rat,they DO NOT treat the drivers like employees by telling them what to wear (uniforms which they must pay for) how much to charge (offering discounts o n the drivers behalf ) and the one I just cannot get my head around at all is actually DISCIPLINING drivers for giving back heavly discounted work.how dare these fukking scum bags.most of these bully boys would be more appropriately featured on the front pages of the sunday world them sitting in their ivory towers on main st swords and cornmarket and other pkaces

One particular company which you seem to have greatan affection for,has its bully boys ordering other drivers out of hotel grounds ,and actually threatening them for picking up fares while they themselves engage in the illegal practice of standing for hire in the hotel cal park on the pretence they were called out.Fullerton is well aware of this,but fukking haileys comet is more likely to reappear before he gets around to sorting it out
