why are extras only added to the fare at the end of the journey? what idiot thought that was a good idea. the amount of times I get grief over it is unreal, people think you are ripping them off when the meter shoots up by 1-5 euro suddenly at the end of the journey then wont listen to you when you try to explain the reason why.
is there anyone we can talk to to get them to ensure extras are added in straight away instead of at the end of the journey?

The extras are clearly shown above/below the fare,if anyone has a problem give them a receipt and print off a copy for yourself and mark it so you can reference it,then give them the LoCall number for the NTA and let them argue the toss with them.

I usually tell them to take it up with the NTA but drunk/stupid people are hard reasoned with.

I think what he is saying is that they don't show in the total till the end of journey.

I don't argue/reason with them, at the very first question/query about extras I reach fer the fare card and point to the particular extra or extras that they are querying. It works well fer me.
