Source: Irish Examiner c/o the NTA. Probably a more extensive article out there or to be posted to your house soon.
New figures from the National Transport Authority show 610 complaints have been made in relation to taxis in the first half of 2019.
Sticky seats, upleasent smells, driver behaviour and filthy vehicles make up some of the accusations about taxis made since January.
The stats which were released to the Irish Examiner show just over 100 complaints have been made about taxis every month.
Overall, 36 of the complaints were made in relation to the condition and cleanliness of a taxi.
Nearly 230 complaints made about taxi drivers this year have been in relation to driver behaviour.

Light touch nonsense. Sticky seats and bad smells originate with rancid arses and stale thongs.
