Bundee Aki (born 7 April 1990) is a professional rugby union player who plays for Connacht in the Pro14 and the Ireland national team. Aki was born and grew up in New Zealand, of Samoan descent, and qualified for Ireland through residency. A centre, he has also played for New Zealand provincial team Counties Manukau and for the Chiefs in Super Rugby.

The sooner Ireland are out the better , I never liked Rugby or especially the Irish rugby team, awful boring ugly game to watch in my opinion. A game for upper class and middle class snobs, I just zone out any time I have people in the taxi talking about the team and sexton etc.

Don't agree. Not a big sports spectator, but find rugby more exciting to watch than socccer, more courageous, more masculine qualities on show, regardless of the upper clas connections. I accept the skill level of just using your feet in soccer, but the diving and fouling is sickening.

i find soccer more exciting, in rugby the weaker team rarely wins due to the nature of the game, in soccer you can have a game like Ireland v Germany 2015, Germany had all the possession, way more shots and we get 1 chance, take it and win. rugby is a very dangerous game as well, if I had kids there is no way i would let them play it.

The mens rugby seems very popular with the ladies.Bit of a double standard IMO.If we all turned up at the women's volleyball we'd be fooked out for perving.At least the husbands might get their hole after the match seeing that the wives will be preheated..

The women aren't turning up to look at men......they're thinking of their future kids and whether they'll get a place at 'Rock or Maint(sic) Anville.

Id watch the rugby now and again only if ireland were playing, i wouldn't even sit in the same room if soccerball was on, its the most boring "game" to look at. Its that bad id prefer to watch fair city or crossroads or whatever soaps the wimmin folk watch.

Have to be honest them scrums seem a little drawn out.The cunts do be 69ing each others heads long after the ball is down the other end of the field.It's not right at all.

I've been following me small fella all over Cork fer the past few years playing under-age soccer and there has been many ferocious challenges and tackles on the soccer field. But then he took to also playing Rugby at U-18 level, now granted he is a big lad and well able to look after himself;

But the tackles in the Rugby (even at U-18 level) are a different ball game all together, I do be grimmacing to myself in the stands watching him and praying that he comes out in One piece, but he loves the 'Field of play' and I never stand in his way.

One Saturday morning (May 2019) I was watching me small fella play an U-18's rugby match final in Independence park/formerly known as Musgrave park between Dolphin and Fermoy. Kalem had the most magnificent game that in my Four years watching him that I ever witnessed, he scored a solo try himself fending off tackles almost the full lenght of the pitch and in another most daring run zig-zagged the pitch twice whilst baffling the defence before his front line crossed the line, Amazing stuff !
What was more amazing fer me was that after all the on-field celebrations were over his own band of mates (The Warriors) came down from the stands to congratulate him, Kalem had the match winning trophy in his hand at this stage and he sez to his mates; "I wanna picture with me Dad" !
