Read this ...Mr Kearney said there had never been a collision and the first time Sarah and Brendan Hogan, of Tullow Road, Bennekerry, Carlow, knew they were facing claims for almost €400,000 damages and legal costs was when they received solicitors letters alleging they had caused a collision in which a number of people had been badly injured.

I posted here about a taxi driver who rang an ambulance for a girl who hit a footpath on a bicycle later sued the driver saying he pulled up in front of her .He was never contacted by his insurance until he went to renew and was informed they had settled .They said as he never informed them of the incident he was not party to the incident it was between her and the insurer .They upped his insurance to 9K

Jaysus,if i was to claim for every instance that someone pulled out,did u turns,crossed lanes in front of me i'd be a rich ex taxi driver.

With 4 claims against him,he's going to be an ex taxi driver fairly soon.

His passengers weren't that injured that they jumped out of the taxi and were banging on the other car.....maybe that's when they got their injuries!!

Never owned a plate, obviously a rental And never cared about insurance
