I'd say this is going to have an adverse effect on the business of night drivers . Starts on 1st Dec
-
I wouldn't worry about it dm, it might help clear the drunken twats that pay you in shrapnel, students and the like. It also might entice more people into town, knowing they might have a better chance of getting a cab when its mad busy with xmas parties and the like. I'd be getting worried if they put it on all year round on every route.
-
Is that not the plan based on this trial ?
-
More bus lane's are needed first, there should be one from bray to the port tunnel
-
Both ways

I'm not sure D but either way it wont happen on all routes anytime soon, I wouldn't imagine.

December is pretty shit anyway being weekend heavy on account of all the Christmas parties and folk directing their disposable income at financing festivities, gifts, etc... roll on January!
-
Two buses taking a little pressure off.
Juat wait til they're bricked out of it!

And they will be.

Ya hope
-
We have 24 hour busses...once a day

The buses will be busy when we're busy.
About time too.
Now we need staggered closing times for pubs and clubs.

The way it used to be years ago

Just 2 routes.........? Not very adventurous.
-
They are only TRIALING two routes, if it's successful, they will roll out the rest
-
The 15 will be very successful........empty by the time it leaves Templeogue Village. No self-respecting Knocklyon-dweller would be seen getting off it..... Dublin Bus were recruiting for this eventuality not so long ago......different contracts. Won't be long before they're all laid off and rehired under new terms.

I hope you all get out and to support the farmers today.

Everybody has a right to protest , but FFS they have 1/2 the city closed down, cnuts
-
Could they not wait till Dec 8th!!
-
Hope they burn the kip out of it-but they won't.........need the militant French lads for that.

Ah don't be like that, they kept ye fed when ye had nothing.
-
The young Macra lads haven't a fucking scooby how to farm nowadays...never seen so many fat useless cunts assembled since my last trip to Fosters.
-
What time are they havin the tae and sangwich break at?
-
Poor fckn Cow's , who is going to milk them and muck out ?
-
I'd say drivers are queuing up to work the 27N.
-
Pity we wouldn't take a leave out of their book when it comes to protesting, he farmers will stay till they get a result, while taxi drivers drive round in a circle for half a day and think they have won a concession. Then they are told to fukk off home, and Like good citizens that they are, they do just that

Or go back to work to make a living to pay their overheads

What do you want to strike for, DM? Most dispatch firms say they can't cover the work, we're getting an albeit small increase... should we look for something a lot more substantial, say 63% in an effort to bring supply and demand into equilibrium, noting that we have offered substantial discounts when supply has outweighed demand?
-
I'm basing my comments on a time when we actually WERE justified in taking protest action, now now
