A girl told me recently that she wanted to pay cash for the cab fare.
She was warned that too much taxi use is a negative in actuarial terms in the hope of getting a mortgage.
Up there with having an online betting account apparently.

S'pose it is a bit of a gamble getting into a taxi these days......cue RC!!
-
Drivers own unions have drawn attention to the volume of convicted criminals driving cabs - not to mention all the unvetted immigrants. Given the considerable efforts of TTNH and ITDF to keep criminals licensed I guess they ought to know what they're talking about.

Ya see!!

Even though Darts is hardly a comparable paradigm for the Taxi industry....having multiple convictions for assault never stopped a ladies man with a raspy, Benson and Hedges voice from getting job as a pundit on ITV. Yrs ago it was a prerequisite to have a conviction to drive for a living...we all make mistakes.......stop punishing the aficionados running the top-end of the taxi game for their pasts.

You're right, there is no comparison. TV pundits aren't charged with bringing folk from A to B safely.

And this has what to do with applying for a mortgage?

That's what Revolut is for, I guess.

I wonder will FreeNow pay into Revolut?
Uber will ;D
SumUp wont :'(

How did you get Uber to accept the Revolut account in the end?
-
They kept saying the info wasn’t there, so I highlighted it and then sent it them. Then I stated that everything was there, all the info was on the statement.
Kinda mad that when I reposted my original statement, they accepted it. Then I posted my Revolut statement and they accepted it.
I then got a letter from them stating that their automated clearance system had been acting up but it was all resolved.
This was (conveniently) after I made an appointment to go to the Green Light Hub and only to be told when I was there that the mornings are only for new drivers.
