I called Ulsterbank yesterday and asked about a payment holiday on my personal loan, they said one default then reported to ICB.Ive no income and filled out that pandemic form and posted it.

We have a fixed rate and we'll be enquiring with our lender(BoI) in the coming days,we only owe 27k so i'm hoping they'll say.."Hal,you the man,we're writing off your debt...have a nice day!!"

Mortgage holidays have always been around.I think the banks aren't allowed to affect your credit rating during the crisis whatever you decide to do.

Banks giving nothing away.They know that if this continues for a extended period..people cannot and will not pay.I regard them as one of the most immoral  organisations on this planet.No Helicopter money in this country..only Hade type greed...

There is no mention of PERSONAL loan deferrals,only morgage.nor is there any mention of CREDIT UNION loans being deffered
