Maybe they think they're part of the public transport system - isn't that what all the strikers wanted a short few years ago? Are the Gardai, Ambulancemen, Fire Fighters, Nurses, Bus Drivers, Postmen, Train Drivers, Fast Food Workers, Supermarket Workers, Hardware/DIY store Workers, etc, etc immune?

They either have protective gear or can execise social distancing.
