Mrs Crow pointed out this FaceBook entry from the Chrysanthemum Restaurant in Rathfarnham :

Due to the issue of the supply of raw materials, our restaurant can only supply the following dishes temporarily. We apologize for the inconvenience that might be caused by this.

Curry dish
Chicken, Beef, King Prawn, Vegetable
Sweet and sour chicken
Chicken ball 5PCs with curry sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
Shredded chicken
Spice Bag
Stir Fry mixed vegetables
Fried Rice
Boiled Rice
Chips

Is there something we should know about Pork ?

Unlike Beef that ages and improves Pork dosent last thats why they turn it into Bacon to preserve it .The slaughter houses are on lockdown so no fresh butchery ,probably explains why there is no pork .Chicken will be next .

Thanks, STC... as if I'm not worried enough about all the diseased stuff I've touched in stores over the last couple of weeks, today's main course is roast stuffed loin of pork.

Neither. A drop of cider in the raosting pan which combined with the juices (fat) provides the base for the gravy.

And we had Chicken and bacon with mash, mixed veg, brocolli,stuffing and gravy.

Never ate it rat ...I only are a bit of the egg in cork an I nearly puked ....had 3 pastry cakes remember....filty murder eatin yur cousins ...eatin poor animals ...I only ordered it so some other cnut wouldnt eat it and it be put in the compost bin and at least get a decent burials........ eatin meat is murder
