Looks like it's aimed at business owners and the buying public. €6.95 delivery within a 3km area. "Immediate collection & delivery within 30mins." How long would it take to drive to a shop, identify yourself, pick up the purchase, drive to the house, knock on the door and deliver it. What if they're not at home (or the doorbell's broken) and you've got a weeks' shopping in the boot? Or a new TV? And you can't deliver it O:-)
It's not clear (to me) if the €6.95 applies if the homeowner orders themselves and gets you to collect on their behalf.

Fair play to the Gardai I was in the chemist yesterday for a while and while I was there 3 different Gaurds came in with prescriptions to collect for the locals. It was a nice gesture fair play to them

While they may be well meaning I've seen them walking around practically holding hands and leaning into car windows at checkpoints. I hope they didn't infect you. Maybe you should consider availing of their service and stay at home?

It's possible passengers may insist on screens by the time we return to work, possibly no harm in Mc Gyvering something over the next 10 weeks or so before returning to the fray, hopefully B&Q will be back open by then

Just what you tell us on here. IIRC you actually asked if it was OK to go for your daily walk (or daily sneer at colleagues providing an essential service) while you were supposed to be in self isolation. I'd say you have a neighbour who's 70 and a half and you sneer at hime every time you leave the gaff... but then he's not the one recovering from open heart surgery!

They will bring regulations in on screens as could be dangerous, if wrong type of plastic.With pandemic things are different, but would a insurance company payout on a modified vehicle?

Id say so as its a modification ,Those screens won't stop virus anyway ,be worth a call to insurance company, also leg room is taken with a full screen and in event of a crash customers legs could be damaged, maybe a bread van allow space.

Fer me DM, I would agree with Rats, you have posted of your walking outdoors in recent days and going to the chemist yesterday, I don't even do that and I'm about 12 years younger than you. I just stay at home and shop every 5 days or so.
You after your recent surgery are about as High risk as High risk gets, you really need to cop on and just stay at home and that is advice from a friend.
You survived the bypass operation and God knows we all on here rooted fer you, time now to do as your told by the same people who operated on you and saved your life, STAY AT HOME !
