Covid-19 has had a devastating impact on thousands of legitimate businesses all over the country but illegitimate businesses such as gun running, drug trafficking and gangland murders have also been affected.
Some dealers are trying to use well known online food delivery and taxi companies - unbeknownst to these legitimate businesses - as cover. One man was stopped yesterday in a taxi at a Covid-19 checkpoint in the Naul area of Co Dublin. Unknown to the taxi driver, his passenger was carrying €20,000 worth of cannabis.
Not really a surprise I suppose but that's what would put me off going back too soon. Who are your passengers going to be? Disease-ridden health workers and drug dealers :P And an addict/dealer is not going to pay by card...

It's not beyond taxi drivers to use/move drugs for and consider it a fiduciary duty. You have only to turn on the App' to see who's calling cabs then see the job disappear almost immediately.

Taxi driver having a drug dealer in the cab is about as unusual as a taxi driver brings someone into town, it has nothing to do with covid19, just a journo looking for a story ,,, posters here using same story trying to convince themselves they are anything other than greedy cunts.
At least I'm honest about it, not trying to paint myself as some sort of latter day saint

Last week I worked d12 were I'm from for a few days and all I was doing was return jobs with young lads dropping small bags up to other lads
I swear if the cops put a taxi and garda driver on the streets this week they catch loads
Same names and faces on app all week
This week I'm sitting at home not worth going out

Most people dont realise that they're being robbed while it's actually happening, Its only later when they realise that the things they used to have are gone and then it sinks in and then they look back and realise how where and when it happened .. just sayin ..
on a lighter note .... Weird driving down the northside quays the other day with no traffic ............. good to see all the junkies out enjoying the sunshine on the boardwalk, they have never looked healthier or happier, Shouldnt they all be sick or dying due to compromised immune systems and and lack of social distancing and all ? I also passed by the so called Covid 19 teasing facility near Samual Beckitt Bridge .. :-X

Well happened plenty time's before , well known CrApp has been used a lot for this type of shite. Personally happened to me one's that i have to ring a Guards when some woman trying push a 10 yo into my car using that well known App. Kid just lost and some idiot use an App thinking that this is right thing to do.
