Well here we go, its 4.29am, i can't sleep as my dad is in St Vincents Hospital, and Im on a whats app group on his wellbeing with nurses and doctors .Ive tears in my eyes and dont know what to do.Nurses are texting updates.Im requesting tomorrow for access with full PPE ,to see my dad, as i dont want him alone. Just to let you guys know this virus is hitting me hard, and ive never cried like this before, as im powerless and angry. He is only 72 and this is my life turned upside down.
-
Please God he will pull tru--he is in the best place--try and stay positive !
-
Best wishes for you dad dub .... :)
It is a great hospital..hes in the best of hands ...
-
Dub your dad is still a young man at 72 .I promise I will say a special prayer for your dad, and your family.
-
18 he is getting the best care in hospital. If its any consolation if you listen to the daily report very few people pass away in hospital .Best wishes to him and you both .

Vincent's public, the best. Try to think positive, particularly if he's not in ICU. Dad would want you relaxed and taking care of everyone else. He's in good hands. Most come out ok. 106 yrs old in UK yesterday is recovering well.

Cheers guys it just hard, and this is something i never seen coming.Cheers for prayers.
-
Hope it works out for your Dad.
-
Very sad news, he is in the best place, Vincents currently have the staff and facilities available to give him the care he requires, harsh as this may seem hopefully your request for full PPE access is refused as this is only given in the worst case scenario, please accept any such refusal as the best news you could get.
-
So sorry for this difficult time for you and your family. As everyone says he's in the best possible place he can be. Betcha he kicks the living bejasus outta that poxy virus. Stay positive.
-

@ Dublin2018: Best wishes for your dad. We do actually have some of the best doctors and nurses in the world so he's in very capable hands!
