Post by: Pugwat on May 11, 2020, 11:33:51 am
Just watched the BBC news and the highest death rates from covid are unskilled workers with taxi drivers and security guards at the top of the list.

It's not like it's gonna be busy anyway.Take the €350 and enjoy the holidays.

With government guidelines issued the other day many businesses won't be able to comply with the social distancing so they'll continue to work from home or wait until the restrictions are lifted further to reopen. We'd be foolish to think things are gonna be normal for a few months.

How would you know if a home carer or a nurse was a frontline worker without the uniform? If you're at risk stay at home and leave the scraps to the taxi heroes.

They should consult with NTA / Free Now... We've maintained a full service with little or no casualties.

Male taxi drivers and chauffeurs were also at a high risk - with a rate of 36.4 deaths for every 100,000; followed by chefs, bus and coach drivers and social care workers - the latter with a rate of 26.4 deaths for every 100,000.

In the UK they've lost 27 bus drivers so far.

On the RTE news earlier they had a video of a London double-decker bus that was only allowing passengers board via the middle doors and there was tape stopping passengers moving passed the middle of the bus towards the driver. Seemed at odds with the way taxi drivers are being told to deal with this the same situation.

Ratt said we just as likely to get it as supermarket checkouts girls ....ide say a checkout girl is more likely than a bus drivers....bus driver has always had full screens and does not deal with cash .......I still say it's the steering wheel and hygiene an the bus workers are gave it it to each other .....
The bus unions are probably lot stronger too and vocal on deaths ....
If ya look at the sky news photos of dead doctors an nurses ....ther all darkies chocalate colour like all the bus workers ...
Apparently not as resilient as the white ape wen it comes to flu..

This probably sounds a bit racist but everything does nowadays...the white ape might have smaller nostrils making it harder to pick when yer waiting on the bus terminus for the next run..

But seriously there could be a link between air intake and genetics.Like taking the air filter off yer motorbike to go faster..Might explain the African domination of endurance sports Or they maybe they just like picking their noses more than we do.Poor bastards.

Yeah it's definitely a bit racist.

I don’t know what’s wrong with some people.

Their nose runs and their feet smell.

I guess they are upside down

One for you, STC... my father asked his consultant if he thinks he'll be able to swim if/when he completes rehab/physio... consultant said nothings guaranteed but he'd expect swimming to be no problem in due course... grand, says he... I couldn't swim when I came in.

Rat , about 15 years ago I went into Tallaght Hospital to have (what I taught) a Polyp removed from me rear end on a Bright Wednesday morning, anyways on the Friday morning the Consultant came around early and told me I have Cancer and he would probably have to remove my Back Passage and I'd have a bag for the rest of me life.

Didn't sink in at first and when he left the nurse came in and consoled me and told me what I could and couldn't do when you have a bag,
anyways she said I could play Tennis, I replied "That's great because I could never play Tennis Before", said in my most serious manner.

Honest to God a True story.

Anyway bottom line is I was OK in the end and he didn't have to remove the rear tunnel, go for the scopes every now and again.
