He has been right so far .At a sidebar to the main government foundation talks .The issue of a congestion charge for all our major cities is being discussed with an annual fee being applied to Commercial vehicles that work within the Congestion Cordon .For Dublin the area between the canals and the boundry of the NCR and SCR will be charged .No charge for Electric Vehicles for first three years .
Greens are also looking at taxing your drive in your front garden and if you live in an appartment and have a parking spot they want to tax that as well.It all part of their plan to reduce traffic emissions and congestion .

In order to introduce a congestion charge there has to be a public transport service option available as an alternative, we don't have a viable alternative here
