I gotta agree with octy on this. Them McCanns they just look like they're hiding something, I've always felt that way about them. My daughter is only 3 months younger than maddie, she'll be 17 this year and even now I don't feel overly comfortable leaving her in the gaf on her own, strange but true. How they could of left a 4 year old alone, in a foreign country, beggars fooking belief. They guilty, end of.

I have no idea as to what happened on the night but Octy's theory (which I would not agree with) is just as plausible as any other theory out there, hopefully the truth will come out in the wash someday, but unlikely the German pedo will ever talk and unlikely he will get done on circumstantial evidence without a body. Surely the German police have scoured the camper van fer DNA and if they had found any then we have heard about it by now.

A point on the dog sniffing evidence...I am a huge fan of Springer Spainiels...If any of my dogs were on a forensic sniffing mission and indicated specific scents in a area....I would return on a number of occasions and see if the exact spots continued to show huge interest....The sniffer Spainiel evidence is very flawed.

The story was nothing to do with a child dissapearing there are loads of kids disappear .The Story was and is Two Doctors if it was Berta and Thomas from the Flats .Pierse Morgan or whoever edited the Sun or Mirror wouldnt of put it on page 19 beside the price of Pigs at Worcester Swine Market .The Story was and still is Two Doctors .Just like the Irish media if there is a shooting the story is always accompanied by a photo of a dead Hutch or a Kinahan Photo or John Gilligan or Yer one Guerin even though it has nothing to do with the incident .Papers need to sell so they sensationalize the story .

I assume Paedos like this are opportunists, so if you are foolish enough to leave your children unaccompanied and unlucky enough that a paedo happens to be lurking , this type of thing can happen.

What I did learn was that many if not most pedo's were very intelligent middle aged men who planed their abductions meticulously.
To take Roy's theory further the German pedo man often worked as a waiter, maybe he had seen the Mc Canns dining alone away from their apartment previously and also seen them by day with their children.
So he puts 2 and 2 together and watches and waits, he sees them leaving the beach or pool in the evening and follows them discreetly to see which apartment they were staying in.
He waits and watches fer maybe days until he sees the Mc Canns leave alone in the evening again and then he strikes.
