There have been numerous riots in the UK over the years and not once were the army deployed.
Not once were rubber bullets used.
Not once were live rounds of ammunition used.
Not once was a british subject killed.
Riots in Northern Ireland? well, thats a different story. Shoot away, its not a problem

Norn iron is part of Britain . British soldiers Shot Dead British Subjects there for years .In 1919 there was looting in Liverpool as a result of post war poverty .The Provost martial for the area called out troops and ordered them to fix bayonets .With all the cuts in Police services in the UK the army is the only backup to the Police .
