Ten's of customers have complained of hearing a "high pitched whining noise" when the Skoda taxi they were travelling in turned off its engine.
After a thorough recall by Skoda engineers in The Czech republic, it was found that the whining actually came from the driver, who kept trying to convince the members of the public that the vehicle is actually a poor man's Mercedes. 8)

Thorough recall was overkill. Any old timer armed with an oil can coulda told them that.
