Dollymount .Watch the pettiness of Brexit .I got two customs notices yesterday for goods ordered from China and the USA both were for VAT demands .I was talking to the fella in An Post he says after 1/1/2021 all parcels coming in from the UK will be checked for VAT and other taxes .The likes of Littlewoods or other clothing Catalogues will have all their stuff held until the recipient pays the VAT or other Duty .If any of you have Kids with a Leaving Cert looking for a job the Civil Service are recruiting Customs inspectors .

Here is a taxi Question sort of .If your a taxi driver on the Border and the Brits are out of the EU if your phone crosses over to Orange or some other British Provider will you be charged a Roaming Charge .
This is all I could find .Governments are working with mobile operators to prevent the reintroduction of roaming charges after Brexit for people travelling to the UK, including Northern Ireland, ?

The regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry, is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013.
The current SPSV licensing regime is built upon the principle that the purpose of a licence is to indicate a person’s suitability to carry out a function and to ensure that the holder of a licence is subject to lawful conditions and restrictions.
As such a licence should not have, by association, a monetary value or be tradable on the open market. Accordingly, there is no basis for a "buy back" scheme of the type you have outlined.
