Man rushed to hospital following suspected stabbing in Dublin city centre

A man was rushed to hospital following a suspected stabbing in the Dublin city centre in the early hours of the morning.

Gardai have cordoned off Moore Street this morning as part of an investigation into the incident.

A garda spokeswoman said: "I refer to your enquiry and can confirm Gardaí attended the scene of an altercation that occurred on Moore Street in the early hours of this morning Monday 1st February 2021.

"One man removed to The Mater Hospital, with minor injuries.

"Investigations ongoing."
