When will this Lockdown end ?
No poll, just everyone welcome to throw a specific date at it.
When I say Lockdown end what I mean is when do the pubs re-open kinda properly, as in not the level 3+ which allowed 15 people OUTDOORS with food, by end I mean back to gastro pubs being allowed to serve customers indoors with or without food.

Wet Pubs wont open till September .No crowds at All Ireland Finals .Schools not back till after Easter .Law and Order going to be under huge pressure .Garda are having great success against the Drug Dealers cant see them taking it lying down expect a big gun battle between Garda and Gangs .Loyalists will blame the Republic when Ulster realizes Boris sold them out .The biggest effect of this Pandemic wont be deaths it will be the Wobble caused to Social Order .Its been so unfair .Civil and Public Servants working from home on full coin Office workers working from home even Doctors and Nurses earning big coin on overtime but Low paid manual workers Factory workers ,shop workers being effectively locked out of their jobs .When their patience runs out and they decide fuck it better off dead than buried alive then the real effect of this Disease will be seen .

September .Posted earlier this year Wet pubs wont reopen till September dont think the Gastro pub shite will play out again its all or nothing ,open all pubs or no pubs .

I posted in April last year that a Friend on the Temple Bar Traders told me that pubs would not open before Feb 2021 he was right he now says September at the earliest .

NO we are being spoofed Hal .They are now testing Vaccines for Children ?You know children the little people they told us cant get it so they want to keep schools open .If the Government thought that the pensioners were a problem wait till mothers realize they want to drug their kids .Time to GET A GUN .

The Government’s new strategy for living with Covid-19 will set out plans for a staggered return of construction and a slow return to schooling while maintaining a prohibition on indoor house visits and hospitality.
The new plan is in the early stages of being drafted and sources involved in the process say that while no dates will be explicitly set out for the reopening of society and economy, increased vaccinations should allow for progress in May or June.
Industry sources believe that the hospitality sector may only begin reopening on an outdoor basis from the May bank holiday onwards with a phased reopening for indoor settings as the summer months progress, depending on the level of virus in circulation.
Mass gatherings of more than 50 people are unlikely until a large swathe of the population have been vaccinated, with the Government cautiously optimistic about this being achieved in September.
Schools
The priority in the revised Living with Covid-19 plan will be slowly reopening schools alongside an incremental return in construction which prioritises the building of houses. While restrictions may be eased to allow people to meet outdoors, the ban on house visits is likely to be extended.
The plan will also see the extension of pandemic welfare supports and new commitments in relation to coronavirus antigen testing and greater levels of genomic sequencing.
The Cabinet had been expected to sign off on Tuesday on a new path for the Leaving Certificate but sources in the Department of Education say there is no certainty yet about this timeline.
Talks between the unions and the department took place on Sunday and will resume again on Monday.

Doesn't matter. FF is the Publican party. Publicans outside of Dublin cleaned up last summer with staycationing Dubs replacing spendthrift yanks.

There will be no ranting or raving by VFI or LVA to go back to work ,as vast majority of Publicans are covered for ALL losses incurred by Covid so they can stay calm and collect a cheque every month from Insurance Company to cover everything including profit ,while Directors get their PUP each week --why bother opening up ---remember the Minister saying when this shit started "nobody should have to suffer a loss as a result of this Virus " but then again self employed are "nobody's "--
My view is we will be lucky to see the inside of a gastro pub by end of May maybe June --wet pubs Sept/Oct --!

You're missing the point... publicans outside of Dublin sold more beer last summer than they've soled in their enrtire lives and in the entire lives of their fathers and grandfathers... and they didn't even need a crew of slack jawed locals beating bodhrans and abusing violins to get the tills ringing.

You're not wrong. Mrs. Catcher does an hour a week for the staff zoom meeting and spends a day making video presentations that constitute virtual schooling... thankfully on full wages.
