Few treads on here about making some coin to fill your purse from Crypto Coin or Pony Racing or just betting .Can you actually make extra coin and How .What are the tricks and pitfalls ?
I recon you can but you need discipline and another portion of Discipline then another bit then Patience .EG earlier last year I posted Liverpool would not win a raffle this year they were 5/4 favourites to win as soon as Virgil Van Dyke got smashed up at Everton that changed the whole dynamic at liverpool .They did not have another quality central defender who could take his place so now the attacking midfielders had to play a more defensive role to cover for him being missing this would mean they would be attacking less so score less goals .Cause and Effect Van Dykes injury left a big hole in the defense .Would you sail on a ship with a hole ? So there was no value in backing Liverpool but there was value in laying them on Betfair .If they were playing really well you could buy them back at a small loss .Taking the risk into account you could of probably made 60% on the upside with about a 20% downside risk .Simply investing a Grand on Liverpool to lose would of made you about 600 if it looked like you had chosen wrong you could of bought insurance for about 200 meaning you would of gotten 800 of your grand back .So downside -200 upside +400 you were getting 2/1 for Liverpool not to win the Premier League .I had a bit on but cashed out long ago and took a small profit .
Sinn Fein were 1/1 money to be the largest party in the Next Dail .Paddy refused to lay a Grand at evens they are now 8/11 but almost certainties again only FG can beat them so if things go shit shaped you can have a saver on FG to cover most of your stake .
Dont know about any of those Crypto Coins seems they are not that easy to buy or sell but it might work for some .Gambling is actually more prevalent than you think .A farmer plants seeds a bad winter or wet summer he can lose everything he buys cattle TB can wipe him out .Shops buy the latest fashion if they dont sell it quick nobody wants it .Even Del Boy invested in Three Dozen ,Showaddy waddy Albums .
So here is the question .Brokers will tell you to have a wide ranging Portfolio of shares to increase your chances of making a profit .Are People like us who depend on Daily Toil only to make a crust missing a trick .Should we be investing in Stocks ,Shares ,Coins ,Ponies ,Events to top up our pot .

Not sure I'd call that gambling. They have some control over the outcome and can use their expertise to overcome obstacles. Farmers can buy suitable seed, or put in drains, or dose the cow with drugs. Big difference between this and gambling on 22 men kicking a football around a field. You've no control over those 22 men and no amount of shouting at the telly is gonna change things.

No Johnny..... I'll tell yu wat Ther doing.... They are in the process of developing a state controlled crypto.... Só the é basically takin controll of the crypto in China like theyve takin control of everything else.... They have not stopped individuals from owning crypto.... It is obvious that they will confiscate foreign crypto from Ther citizens wen the time is rite an the citizens will be forced to swap Ther foreign crypto for state crypto at a huge loss and great gain to the state....

Im doing a bit but its very slow .Like you said its an expensive job to compete in with Costs before wages .If I could get out I think I would .Dont think we will bounce back as quick as they are saying and when the reality of how much we owe as a country hits home I think 1970s all over again High tax little disposable income and we have more competition .With rent a bike ,scooter,Luas ,Dart .Cycle to work,work from home .Few factories across from me in Fonthill if I could get a walk to work job on minimal coin I would probably take it .

Now you visit PP the staff still know little,as its all on down to technology,but the range of bets is ludicrous,opportunities to bet ever 60/90 sec all technology driven and policed--odds calculated by recruits from Trinity /Ucd with Masters in Statistics and Actuarial studies--they wouldn't know how to have an opinion ,good or bad --occasionally they make an error and let some marketing guru come up with a price --Donnacha to train a Listed winner 6/4 and 3/1 a Group winner --how much could you get on ? The only ting I'm worried bout now is wer proble s due another recession.... Especially after the damage that chinese plague did....

He's a smart bloke alright.Spends his days reading business plans and balance sheets even now as an OAP.In the old days a company's share price was linked to it's profitability.Not too many seem to care anymore about the fundamentals.Slow and steady wins in the end.
