Title: More F**kin Pedestrianisation
Post by: Justin Time on May 21, 2021, 06:14:12 pm
Now its Capel St.

Apparently it comes after "public demand" according to the DCC.(Green Cllrs and the cycle lobby are delighted)

Can anyone tell me where in the name of sweet Jesus will we be able to get around the city ?

Why are there no consultations with taxi drivers re this type of decision, It will have a huge impact on being able to earn a living

I think there was a consultation process, I recall completing an online consultation for one of the proposed pedestrianisation schemes.

Should work well for taximen anyway... detours give higher fares and some eaters/drinkers will become fares.

May could be wettest on record with rainfall 600pc above normal at some Irish weather stations (https://www.sundayworld.com/news/irish-news/may-could-be-wettest-on-record-with-rainfall-600pc-above-normal-at-some-irish-weather-stations-40453167.html)

Let's hope the weather improves!
