The Cabinet will meet this morning to consider a proposal to develop a system that would permit only those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to eat and drink inside bars and restaurants.
I am Fully Vaccinated and if this becomes law I will totally support any person or group who decides to burn down any hotel or Pub that would operate this system .We live in a Republic not a Dystopia run by Doctors and Political Elites .The Country is Bankrupt People are being evicted from their Rental homes as House Prices have surged and investors are selling up and cashing out but Fuck that its more important to legalise the sale of Street Pints and indoor pints We have been taken over by NPHED .More people die from Cigarette related illnesses that Covid but we dont ban Smoking .Alcohol related deaths are greater than Covid yet we promote Drinking Culture .I hope Republicans on this Island see a move like this as a greater threat to this Republic than partition and act accordingly to defend their Freedoms and Republic .

More taxes are on the way to help close the Covid budget gap, the National Economic Dialogue has heard, but it’s unclear what form they will take.
The Government will rack up close to €250bn in debt by the end of the year and will lose out on multinational revenues under a global corporate tax deal, so it needs to find new ways to fund investments in housing, healthcare and other priorities.
“There was general agreement that the tax burden is going to be much higher in the next 10 years,” said Stephen Kinsella, an associate professor of economics at the University of Limerick, who participated in the two-day event.

Mr Martin told a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that warnings from public health officials that over 2,000 people could die in the coming months because of the Delta wave was based on new advice to expand the use of certain Covid-19 vaccines on younger age cohorts and thus potentially expedite the vaccination of people under 40.
Independent.ie understands Tourism Minister Catherine Martin specifically asked the Taoiseach if the new advice from the National Immunisation Advisory Council (Niac) was factored into the forecasts.
Mr Martin responded by telling the Cabinet meeting Nphet’s projections had accounted for the significant changes in the National Vaccination Programme.
Following the Taoiseach’s comments, the Cabinet decided to delay the reopening of indoor service in restaurants, pubs and cafes while ministers develop a new vaccine and immunisation identification system.
At a briefing of Opposition TDs on Wednesday, chief medical officer Dr Tony Holohan revealed that the new guidance - that the AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson jabs could be used on under-50s - was not factored into modelling which projected in a worst-case scenario of 681,900 new cases and 2,170 deaths over the coming months.
Dr Holohan said the Nphet modelling did not factor in the latest decision by Niac.
He told Labour leader Alan Kelly it would be a case of getting people vaccinated across July and August to try to "attenuate" the impact of the Delta variant in August and September.

The Taoiseach received an intense backlash from party colleagues tonight after stalling plans to reopen indoor dining due to Nphet warnings.
Micheál Martin was told at tonight’s Fianna Fáil parliamentary party meeting that he was a passenger on the “Tony Holohan bus”.
Government TD Marc MacSharry said that he has no confidence in the Taoiseach or Health Minister Stephen Donnelly to handle the pandemic and went as far as suggesting that Mr Martin should “step aside”.

Have you read todays paper .Nursing homes are getting sued by the coffin chasing families for the death of their families .Who will police this and if they can trace an outbreak back to a gaff party or a pub and you picked up from that pub and transported the fever from Macroom to Ovens what liability will you have if you didnt ask to see a Covid clear cert .Think before you talk .The hungry Barrister is going to go ferrel trying to get coin for his client .If there was ever a legal requirement for pubs or taxies to check on the status of customers imagine the insurance premiums to cover your liabilities in case you made a mistake and allowed in a plague carrier .

From what I saw the HSE has the best PPE that money can buy.Proper masks and face shields etc.They treat covid like it's Ebola.No messing about.
When the numbers were getting higher they emptied lots of covid clear wards into private nursing homes who were staffed by people who didn't care/know as much about the virus and hadn't got the proper equipment.
The result was covid was rampant in some nursing homes and people died over it.To compound their grief there was no visiting during level 5 so it's likely they didn't see their relatives in the last few months even though they knew they were bolloxed.Then the small funerals of less than ten people meant they didn't get to send people off properly.So there will be lots of angry families that will be looking for at least an apology but I'm sure a payout will do for some.Maybe I'll buy two Teslas!€€€€€€€

I inquired could I pay private for the scan as you use to be able and have it sent to the Hospital .I was told no unless you are compleatly private you must wait for inhouse scan .Smiley Paul from the HSE is going to be Press Raped after the Covid is gone over the failures of the HSE .I recon once you reach 60 the health servise slow down on your treatment if you are not private or already in the system .

Me own yungfella has had problems with his ears since he was a kid....had an op on one of his ears,bone had to be removed because it became infected....the dozy fuk in Drogheda made a bollox of it imo...anyhoo,his other ear was givin him a lot of jip,dizy cunt in Drog just kept suctioning it and giving him drops...as soon as he hit 18 referred him off to Beaumont....he was seeing a consultant there through the public system....gets a phonecall one Monday a few weeks back from Blackrock Clinic asking if could make it over for a covid test(he was in Carrickmacross working)...he made it,tested negative,surgery on the Wed morn at 7am.....all paid for by the HSE....only had to pay €80....which Laya are covering......
Had to take a graft from his earlobe and reconstruct his eardrum which i fully believe the prick in Drogheda knew needed to be done.
