Are these tests still in operation or are they closed again because of Covid?

I do know driver theory tests can be done on a PC or laptop remotely but i don't know if the NTA have approved that approach.

That wud result in 100% pass rate .....I'm down the bog 100 km away from Dublin  and all the taxis I've seen only have a D stickers on them

In my last real job.....one of the guys in the office was doing the theory test,he was sitting in the passenger seat of the van i drove but they wouldn't let him do it there, found a sort of quiet place in a corner of the warehouse.....he failed btw!! lol

Hal why would anybody want to go taxi driving .What happens when we are all battery operated .Do you think you will be able to get a Battery Operated Wheelchair taxi for under 70K .I see a few dozen Peugeot Partners in a car rental yard in Baldonnell .Think their business model is rent to buy they do cars vans and trucks .I wonder if all the WAT drivers have considered the cost of Battery operated replacements ?
