So how many of you are only taking 3 passengers ( in the back) and not having anyone sitting beside you ?
Saw a fella today pick 4 people up none of them had face coverings.
There is not a hope in hell I would be doing that.

I wouldn't be bothered about covid anymore until a really bad variant comes along.I had it around Chirstmas and I only had minor symptoms.
You can now walk into any pub/restaurant in the country without a covid cert.The capacity restrictions have been lifted completely.I was in two pubs on Saturday and there were easily a couple of hundred people in close proximity without masks.It's over for now.The mask legislation will likely be allowed lapse in March IMO.Whats the point of it if you can do what you like in the pubs.

Masks are still legally required in taxis so you might get a fine if you saw a Guard and he saw you and he got the energy to do something about it...
I insist on 3 most of the time. I have my box of chemicals & sprays on the front seat so hint, hint. Once or twice, I've let someone in the front seat, usually when they're the type you don't mess with.

I'll wear a mask to make others feel better but at some point we need go get back to normal.Buses are running at full capacity again.If you die from Omicron you were probably half-dead anyway.
The three passenger thing was only guidance from Freenow and possibly the NTA.I don't think it was ever legislated for.Most of the Dublin bus drivers aren't wearing masks from what I've seen.I kinda wanna see who I'm driving around.

i've taken 4 all through the shamdemic.
have'nt worn a mask once in the car.
i was making a pick up from a boozer and i did'nt know the guards were staking out an illegal after hours drinkin session.
when the staff of garglers got in they pounced on me and everybody said stick your masks on to cover the bang of gargle on your breath. i knew i was supposed to have one on and i put it up to my face. that was the nearest time i came to putting one on. clown garda started askin me was i in the pub with them gargling.
if you drive a bus or taxi you don't need to wear a mask if there's a charlie sheen between you and the passanger.

Front set fully available, at all times now, since last week. For the previous two years it was always, and only, available if there were more than three passengers.

3 passengers only made sense if you had a screen. No point in a screen if you let the diseased feckers sit on the same side of the screen as you.

The mandatory requirement to wear face coverings for SPSV travel has been extended.
The Minister for Health has made further Regulations extending the period of effect of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A – Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) (Face Coverings in Small Public Service Vehicles and Certain Premises) Regulations 2020 (S.I. No. 569 of 2020). These Regulations shall now remain in effect until the 9th day of February 2022.

Drivers of a public transport vehicle do not have to wear a face covering if they are:
Alone in a compartment
Separated from passengers by a screen
In the vehicle but there are no passengers getting on or off

I've had 2 groups of 4 tonite ....wat else can you do but bite the bullit ......ide say you will get it either way to be honest unless you stay in your room ....

I think it's inevitable Octy.....but more of a chance of catching working nights as they're more likely to be more riddled and throwing caution to the wind than having one or two passengers during the day.

The HSE need to start running ads to let people know it's safe to meet people again.They've been scaremongering for a long time.Some people actually believe it's still dangerous.Omicron is very mild for most people.
The Pandemic is over now that we're vaccinated.Nothing else they can do after that.Remember they used to say that vaccinations reduced transmissiblity.Well Omicron still ripped through the country with most the population vaccinated.They were making it up as they went along.

I hear ya hal ...I tried mornings like ya said ...it wasn't great to be honest ...Fri evening an Saturday evening are nearly a nessessity.....weel see how it goes ...have to prepare for wen the crypto money .....em.... I mean the dole money is takin off me

Free Now doesn't cater for parties of 3 or 4 anymore. The options are:
Taxi (2 pax)
Taxi + Screen (2 pax)
Eco Taxi (2 pax)
Taxi XL (5-8 pax)
Accessible (2 pax)
Maybe that's why Bolt has gained in popularity?
Having said that I'll take up to 4 passengers in my saloon car from either app. I leave it up to clients where they wish to sit and, for the most part, unless there's a party of four they choose the back. On the rare occasions I have a front seat passenger I'll wear a mask if s/he chooses to wear one.

Omicron is dangerous,nor is it mild. However, t is "milder" than other variants.
The pandemnic is far from being over it is still rampant throughout many countries in the world.
Vaccinations were never 100% fool proof.
What they do it reduce you chances of getting seriously ill or dying, unfortunately,some who were vaccinated did get seriuosly ill and die.
Dont be fool hardly and think all is well, you need to keep safe and be sensible

My point is people are moving on.I appreciate you might be still concerned and a bit scared.Hospital numbers are at they're lowest in a long time but restrictions are mostly gone.If it was as dangerous as you believe they'd be piling up bodies all over the place.The pubs are packed and largely maskless.Another month ot two and all restrictions will be gone unless another variant arrives that's worse.

Got the worse dose of a cunty ting ...Still can't breathe properly...
tested for covid negative ....it was something else .....now I have " long "something else "
Yu may aswell be out working for your health and peace of mind it'll do your immune system alot more good ide imagine :(
