We have always done our best to work in the drivers interest and will continue to do so, and work towards further reductions in driver costs. At the end of the day we realise that this can only be acheived by drivers supporting Taxy and pushing the business for themselves along with as much support as Taxy can give the drivers along the way.
We have the right brand, systems and apps that have proven to be up their with the best.
So lets get behind one another, take back a part of what rightfully belongs to the drivers, a fair system that provides work at a fair price.
We are looking for drivers to promote and grow Taxy together, a golden opportunity to give drivers the option to regain some control in their industry and have an app they can call their own.
Taxy will also launch several advertising campaigns to gain new business and promote the business on both digitally and on Radio, as well as sponsorships and other advertisements.

€2 base fee per week.
3.95% commission on all jobs until January 2024. Special branded rate 7.9% will apply thereafter.
Max Commission charge of €50 per week until January 2024. Special loyalty commission cap of €85 will apply thereafter.
Receive overflow work from Taxy's partner companies.
Bring a business account or Hotel to Taxy and Earn 50c for every completed booking for the first 12 months. EXAMPLE 1: Company A does on average 80 jobs a week. 4160 bookings a year. 4160 x €0.50 = €2080 paid to driver. EXAMPLE 2:Company B does on average 25 jobs a week. 1300 bookings a year. 1300 x €0.50 = €650 paid to driver.
No hidden fees
No hospitality fees
No commission taken on YOUR tips.
The above will be written into an agreement between Taxy and the individual to ensure full transparency for both parties.
As you can see this is a fantastic opportunity for drivers to come together and build a future that gives drivers a fair system, for a fair price.
We will need a minimum of 350 drivers to avail of this offer by July 1st 2022 in order to justify the cost to operate at such reduced pricing. T&C's apply to this offer.

Just to clarify... I haven't used the app since COVID '19 anall struck. My documents obviously need to be updated at this stage so it's currently inaccessible to me. Hence any "continued support" on my part is in theory at best.

I had the taxy app on for a few months and got 1 account job worth €7 out of it.
Unless they've suddenly found heaps of work....

Boyd Barrett Asked the Minister for Misery if taxi drivers and Entertainers could earn 120 sovs a week and keep the PUP .See the similarities .When Big Dommos Sister sang with a band in the 70 s there were 5 in the band an they all got a few quid .Then Albert Reynolds thought why am I paying 5 people I could get a lad with a box of records and a record player and only pay 1 person .Most of the new DJs were band members as they had the record collections .So Some of the Band members put the rest of the band members out of business by handing over total control of the industry to the Bar and Clubowner who only employed DJs .
Now Taxi drivers are doing something similar .Handing over the control of their work to Apps .The Disk on your car says how many passengers you can carry and the area you can work but you follow instructions from you Slave masters .Cant understand why lads want to hand over control of THEIR EMPLOYMENT to OUTSIDE CONTRACTORS .

A lot of them are using Bolt. It's probably not far off 50/50. However, Bolt is giving big discounts and (ironically) a lot of punters expressed their preference for Bolt being down to them taking less from drivers... me brother/fella/da/uncle/etc does a bit himself and he said, etc, etc....
In any event having two viable apps is of benefit to both drivers and clients. You can fall out with one and not miss it until you fall out with the other at which time you can go back to the first....

Up the hooter hal ....by the way I'm workin on paintins now that I gav up the alcoholism on account of I cudny afford it on account of the price goin up so I'll have one for yu in the not too distant....an ratti I ordered a frame for yurs.....not forgettin Ken I've to do one for him aswell ....someday wen we get some bleedin sunshine an all ::)
