He will probably post it .Just got a Whatsapp not a Letter or fax but a moving picture of an event over the phone from a fella lives a good bit away from me .Showing his Lovetoken Delivery for his Snuggle Bunny model type Girlfriend . Now I remember being dissapointed waiting for a Valentine's Card to drop through the Letterbox but now we have no excuses cannot blame the postman when you forgot .The Balbriggan Lothario just had a delivery of Romantic goodies ...............Wait for it ............................By Drone .Dropped on the well tended front Lawn .The future is here .Poor deliveroo peddelists and Uber Eats lads are obsolete .

Wait till the rodent posts this .Its very impressive .If any of your kids were thinking of going to college to be a Delivery cyclist or document courier tell them bag loaders will be needed to load Drones .

Amazon are building a Drone Depot in Baldonnell .What about low flying Aircraft landing or taking off from the Airdrome .A lot of building going up around there .AirCorp might move that land must be worth millions .Yer man hasent posted the Footage yet ,he is probably doing a bit of Flower arranging .Seriously impressive bit of film .

They won't be allowed to fly over peoples gaffs.You'll see driverless cars before drone deliveries are allowed.There's only a handful of places inside the M50 where you can legally fly a drone.Even parts of the Phoenix park is off limits.

Dont know what the rules are .I have a message sent by the Rodent of a Drone Delivery to his Bunker Yesterday .I wont post it as it was sent as a message but Im sure the Rodent will inform us of who was using the Drone for deliveries .Its very impressive .Ideal for delivering spare parts or high value items cant see Tesco delivering Bread and Onions by Drone .It seems very noisey with four propeller's.I had a job delivering medicines this would be ideal for delivering just in time medicines like coldchain .What I found impressive was how they found the exact house in a built up estate .Must use the postcode .Free Now can hardly find the street never mind the right gaff .

I still don't see the advantage John.One Amazon driver can deliver hundreds of things in one day.Drones falling out of the sky because they hit a seagull won't be cheap to insure.I don't wanna bang of one of those things.

I can see companies renting a drone from Drone you like LTD and keeping it on their premises and they load stuff on to it and contact Air Control @ Amazon give them the address and they programme the delivery .Dont see it as mainstream but the likes of Garages waiting for spare parts they might have to wait till the van does a few hundred deliveries before they get parts and get working .Could be good in Rural parts for emergency deliveries .Im impressed and im a technophobe cant programme a tv or video cant even record stuff on the telly but this is very impressive .

In my experience they have a long way to go before it'll be the delivery method of choice for the monthly takeaway or anything else. The delivery was supervised by two technicians with all sorts of high fangled gadgets and a look at their app today advises that they're currently closed and will be back flying on Wednesday. However, it has novelty value I guess and they did say they'd refund the €4.20 delivery fee because it was 7 minutes late. I think the technicians got stuck in traffic or something!
No doubt there's a lot to iron out before these things are streamlined. For example, I'm guessing they won't cope too well with a good sea breeze come winter. Anywaysanall, it's an Irish firm offering the service so I will support it as it develops.
It won the cat's approval, regardless. He's happy as a pig in shit with the paper bags and ball of string!

It's not officially opening till the end of march but it's a huge building, the transport is already sorted so you needn't worry about low flying drones John

HTF is it cost effective?
Hard to see much in it at €4.20 per delivery given that each drone can only carry one load at a time. They'll have to train the retailers to load them up efficiently, at least. I was gonna order a coffee today to see if it spilt any and if it was still hot. Maybe Wednesday!

What about Privacy .They must have a Camera on board .You could be taking a piss in the shore out the back after loads of Semi Expensive Lidil Cider and some young lad could claim he was traumatised by the sight of your Willy and sue for Post Traumatic Cock disease or some other made up stuff while operating the drone from Drone HQ in Baldonnell or Pakistan or wherever they depo the Pilots .
