I don't know what Paddies day was like except in Cork and down here is was not busy but instead it was Carnage fer the entire day and night !
By day the traffic anywhere around the city center was at a standstill, by night you could not cash in a FN fare fer the amount of follow-on jobs appearing on the screen, and it was difficult to pick up off the street by night because EVERYONE was as pissed as the next fella !

Went to work, Swords looked as rough as sandpaper and I was in one of those moods where I just wasn't interested so I wnt home with €7 cash, a large Big Mac meal and two hamburgers.

Yeah... It's rare for me but I was tierd and had a feeling that work would be more trouble than it was worth.

I woke up early yesterday and started working at 6.30 am for the first time in about 10 years.Maybe I have a tumour or something..Finished four hours later when the restrictions slowed me down.Happy with my effort.Bolt was busy and commission free so I just left off Freenow.
Went for a few pints last night and the pubs were busy but not absolutely jammed.I guess many will be out again today for Paddys day 2.

I've a wedding staycation up above in Dublin this weekend... after the racing!
-
You might need to go full time soon Rc to pay for all that.

That and an EV... I want an EV!
Plan B was to win it from Cheltenham... after 3 of 4 days I'm up €19 net of related gargling expenses.
Plan A was to win it from Free Now... alas my surname isn't Fox.

Being a Gent of restricted talent or enthusiasm for the Job .I had a most enjoyable Paddys Day hit town only once The Good people Of Ballyfermot and Saggart availed of my service .Knocked off the Free Now at about 9 oc .The offers were ridiculous .Im in Ballyfermot and being offered jobs in Cabra or Crumlin .Then you have to reject it to see the next offer so killed it dead .They need to automate that shite if you dont accept in about ten seconds it should go off screen

Agreed John M, the long range jobs coming in all day and night pissed me off, even with me radius set to 1km it was still offering me jobs miles away, I worked the streets fer the most part of last night.

Paddies Day (daytime) worked out okay for me but it didn't go according to my plan. Had planned to do mostly cash 'parade' jobs as per previous years but...
Started the day down to the Port to charge the car and have my morning caffè latte. After that, got a FN job from Clontarf to Artane Castle. And worked most of the morning doing FN jobs in the suburbs with no mention of the Parade. Finally got a 'Parade' job around 11.30am and then it got stupid. The Guards closed off half the city and it was impossible to get around. FN should also put up a geofence for these festivals - the amount of jobs inside the parade perimeter was just ridiculous.
My final job was a peach. Got 3 African ladies on Pearse St going to 2 hotels in Ballsbridge. One lady was regaling the other ladies about her friend. She had a wonderful voice & was a fantastic mimic. I couldn't do the story justice but basically her friend met a guy at a party and went into the bedroom. After awhile, there were noises from the bedroom - 'Save me Jesus, Save me Jesus' with other banging sounds. She met her friend the next day at church and her friend was in fine voice shouting 'Save me Jesus, Save me Jesus' during the religious ceremony. It was one of the few times I wish a journey was a bit longer.
Today worked out very well too. Thought it was going to be a sleepy 'Sunday' as most would be saving their energy and money for the Saturday rugby and the Dubs on Sunday. But it was pretty busy so kinda surprised but happy :D

Getting burgers from McDonald's rare, is rare indeed.

I got a street job from Dorset St to the Brig last night. Passed RC's gaff, and there's his cash machine parked up at 02.19! Didja ever hear the likes? 8)

The new version is a piss off as in shows the route to the next follow on job REGARDLESS IF YOU TAKE IT OR NOT, but the thing to note is that the dimmer blue line is the follow on job and the heavier blue line is the job that you are on, hope that helps ??

A Taxi was involved in a bad accident at Mc Gregor's Swiss last night.
I saw an ambulance on a shout at Clontarf Garda station, either the passenger or driver was in distress.

I was on staycation up above in Dublin for a wedding... although it'd be highly unusual for me to be on duty at that hour, regardless.
