I see it on the Bolt screen now, if'n I do 5 jobs in a week anytime before 25/5/22 then both myself and Rats get a Nifty each, I think ??

On my app they are offering €200 for a referral, subject to the new driver doing, I think 40 jobs in the first 14 days.

I think Uber charges 12%.They can't get 25% off us if there is competition between them.

Good to have Bolt also now in Cork, at least FN no longer have the monopoly.

The days of street and rank work are gone.

For the first time since coming over, Uber are offering discounts and incentives to drivers left, right and centre. I literally get emails every day from them for promotions. It never happened before

And then we will have the drivers that will take off the Mytaxi branding and put on Bolt to get an extra month free commission.

Mine back to the original €50 now... was €200 'till recently - with the same preconditions. Maybe there's a limit on what they'll pay any single driver?

Hardly a big deal to slide the button once to go back online ??
I only got 2 job offers from it yesterday but was not in a position to accept either,
Did you do any jobs off it yet ?

This is where the accidents come in blokes constantly sliding finger right to go back online and then the mytaxi app ringing. Distraction for the driver.
Was offered a few today, didn’t do any

I think we all agree that FREE NOW is a dumb name for a taxi-hailing App'. Who in their right mind didn't see the irony of naming their taxi-hailing App' after a runner? BOLT. Aah FFS!!

Every punter now bailing into a cab with an African driver saying "Are ye Usain Bolt?" 8)

Just be careful with Bolt and their promos, there's generally "conditions" that have to be met....like maintaining an acceptance rate at differing % rates,so everytime you reject a job they drop that % which could put you below their qualifying criteria.

I was out at 8am this morning doing a bit and the apps were hopping. While I was eligible for the bonus top up to €17 I got nothing off Bolt except one offer of a long job which I thought was odd.Usually there is nothing but short hops. They must have it setup to send the short stuff to the lads who didn't qualify for the bonus.Crafty Estonians.

While I was eligible it offered me a Maynooth and an Airport. After my acceptance rate fell below 75% later on all the normal shit started rolling in.Fixed as fuk.

I agree Merc.....last Thurs was on a Bolt fare to town(Merrion Sq)...offered me a number of follow up jobs in the area but for some reason weren't giving them to me but then started offering me jobs over northside while still en route which I was rejecting, when I checked my acceptance rate it was down to 59% and the bonus that I had accrued disappeared and any job I accepted after that was only giving me a 1% increase so I just said fuk em,surprisingly yesterday the app was busy with no bonus in play.

Apologies Stephen, I didn't make the weekly 5 job quota to qualify both of us fer the Nifty Bobo, I had 2 done early Sat morning and another 2 just before midnight on Sat night and even though I worked on through the night (even during the jungle hours) with the app on until 5am no further job was offered to me ??

Seems very strange that even at maximum peak closing time hours on Sat night that no job was offered to me ??

I tried that Bobo tenner thing on Sat morning, the Bobo was to be online just 2 hours between 8am and 11am, I was online at 8am, got offered just 1 job and did it fer 13 odd euro, headed away home about 10.30am and the Bolt clock was stuck at 1.53 hours worked ??
I still had the app turned on online until 11am but the clock never moved from 1.53 hours worked ??

No bodder, Ken. They obviously don't have much in Cork yet. The honeymoon period up above in Dublin is pretty much over now with most bonuses requiring a 75% acceptance rate. That's a non-runner, particularly at weekends. Still, the freight is significantly lower than Free Now and it serves to reduce dependence on any single employer.

Slow start fer Bolt in Cork.

I had 2 jobs done early Sat morning and another 2 just before midnight Sat night,
then I got no job offer between midnight Sat night and 5am Sun morning,
(which would have qualified me & Rats fer the 50 Euro 5 job per week start up Bobo) ??

And again the same last night, no job offer between 3am and 6am on Sun night/Mon morning.

They obviously need drivers on board first Ken to ensure some sort of service, passengers using the app in Dublin still have longer wait times as opposed to using FN but the discounts they're offering to passengers at the mo makes them hold on that extra few minutes.

I didn't get paid me Tenner Bobo fer last Sat so I emailed them yesterday and got this response today;

Thank you for your patience.
I have checked your account details and I can see that you qualified for the 10EUR bonus and it has already been added to your account. Please be informed that you will receive this amount together with your next week's payout. Your patience on this will be highly appreciated.

The 4th - 6th guaranteed €17/fare bonus is working well enough for me. Two c.4.5 hour shifts has my current bonus at €43.20 and, with a 100% acceptance rate, I'm unlikely to fuck it up tonight. I guess the question I should be asking myself is might I have got more in tips if I'd ignored the Bolt jobs in the hope of offers from Free Now?

There's no cash work or very little from Bolt by all accounts.
On Free Now, the account jobs rarely produce tips.
On Free Now, a lot of the cash work can generate tips.
Considering all the apps, the radio companies, and streets are busy at the same time, one could end up at the end of a shift with not enough to put fuel in the tank to get home and wait for the digital transfer into your account.
