PEOPLE ARRIVING FROM Ukraine into Ireland will be allowed to exchange their driving licence for an Irish one, Eamon Ryan has confirmed.
Making the announcement, the Minister for Transport said the move will “make it easier” for Ukrainians fleeing the war to move around, access work, school or other public services in the Republic.

Good luck to them getting insurance!

Recent media focus on the shortage of taxis is no coincidence.
I got a letter from FBD the other day saying they applied an incorrect driver rating to my renewal quote back in January. As a result I get €141.25 back. Nice given that they (via Taxifair) were already a couple of ton cheaper than Axa via the new BJP.

One of me brothers mates got a first-time taxi quote €3500.Cant verify it until I meet him but insurance isn't as silly as it used to be.

I remember paying the guts of IR£5,000 just to be inured as a cosy for a year. That's more than most lads on here paid for their plates!
