Did you all get the E mail and did you contact the Data Comissioner about it ?
I work as a Taxi driver self employed and I am being rated by passengers on behalf of a service provider I use without my consent .

If you want 5 stars just keep the comment hole shut.Chances are they're not tipping so no harm done.Keep all the shit talk for the missus.

All it takes is for someone to take a dislike to you because they're having a bad day and there's fuckall you can do about it other than log out and starve.

Just contact the Data Comissioners and ask them to get all your ratings delivered to you or deleated .

Erm I don't really care about ratings.You will only get starved of work if you are consistently pissing off the passengers.
To cover yourself you should sign up for Uber and Bolt.At least then you won't be financially affected because you wanna have a moan about Leo or whoever in the taxi.
Imagine everytime you got on the bus the driver started complaining about Varadkar and and his crypto portfolio.Not really a great experience..I'd probably just buy one of those electric scooters and avoid the bus altogether.

I have a very high rating .Whatever happened to the prefered driver shit they were running ? all of this is bollox but why let them have another rod to beat you with .Do guinness ask us to rate the barman or the cleanliness of the Shitter in the pub .This sounds a bit like Father Ted stuff asking Mrs Doyle and her Girlos to rate the Mass and the Priest and the shineyness of the Tabernackle and the smell of the beeswax candles .

It's just a convenient way for them to find the drivers and passengers acting the bollox.Dont overthink it.

I had a message from Bolt a week or so back telling me my rating had dropped and I risked being excommunicated if I didn't pull my socks up!!

I got a bad rating on Bolt when I "encouraged" my passenger to get out 100 meters early when someone else was trying to flag me down.I knew he wasn't gonna tip as he was a Packie Bonner..out ya go.

Ratings are all the rage these days. Handy if you're looking for a restaurant in a town you don't know... just google the type of grub you ant and all the options come up with scores out of 5.

I have made a formal complaint to both the Data commissioner and the taxi regulator .There is an official complaint device to complain about drivers and that lies with the taxi regulator who will inform you of any complaint .

I said to Bill of Hailo fame that if someone thinks they're being clever by judging me via an App, then everyone from that night gets blocked.
Innocents are getting punished by the cretinous behaviour of one internet judge.

Bullit the taxi licence is issued by a state body we depend on it for our living yet this company wish to rate us depending on some random criteria one of them is how many jobs you cancel .The fucking app is shite never works right drops pins and jobs and now passengers are using multi apps and taking the first one to turn up I had 3 jobs cancelled by passengers this weekend and cancelled 4 when I arrived and rang the customer and got no reply I ring a second time no reply I fuck off no time to waste sitting around then jumping through rings to get a scrub .Twice this weekend I was told there was a server issue to switch the app off and restart it .Now imagine you are being rated on a fucking useless developer who cannot write a bit of code .

But they're only taking commission on the work they supply and you accept!!

I had 2 app fares over the years whom I thought would give me a bad rating and I checked the app after finishing to see that they both indeed had as my rating had fallen that night.
The 2 fares in question were 1 fella who lost the plot after I asked him to put his open beer bottle in the cup holder because if the airbags goes off then it will cause him serious injury, the other was a fella whose girlfriend was attempting to barf out the cab window.
I contacted FN about both cases and both bad ratings were withdrawn from my account, not that I care too much about ratings but I just didn't wish these 2 customers to get the better of me in any way.
