Firearms certificates issued to 300 minors every year, gardaí reveal
Of 1,400 firearms training licences issued in eight years, most went to teens
Gardaí issue an estimated 300 licences to minors for guns or gun training every year, figures show.
At least 150 firearms training certificates are issued to children, some as young as 14. It is estimated a similar number of 16 and 17-year-olds are obtaining firearms certificates entitling them to hold a gun.
I have been telling you this for years .All these certs are not issued to Farmers Kids .There are a group of Survivalists as they call themselves in Ireland just like their American mates Preppers who are waiting on Armageddon .They might not be wrong with Putin,Biden,Boros and Xi all sitting down to play Poker with 9 deuce off suited each and all betting into the pot .
Imagine when the Flop comes and the next three cards are Biden dies in office Putin dies in sympathy Boris is overtrown because he is useless Xi is the only Leader left in place that matters and Big Dommos Grandson is now leader of his own Lord of the Flies Gang that rule the district around the flats and Dr Leo is working as a Lounge Boy in the Bar in the Pigeon Club .
The Dodger Donnolly says he might bring back mandatory mask wearing but wont cancel half a million people gathering in a field to watch Garth Brooks to stop the spread of the China Cough .Dont know if the FCA still exists but we were all in it in the 1970s taught how to fire a 303 if you could hit the target down the Glen then you were taught to aim and fire a Bren Gun if you were good at that then you learned to strip and assemble a GPMG and fire it then small side arms training and back to the Glen to fire an FN .
The difference between the 1970s and now .More Kids today have Guns than Raleigh Choppers .

Firearms cert covers pistols , crossbows , air guns ,revolvers,rifles and shotguns.there are numerous gun clubs , clay pigeon shooting and rifle ranges plus folk who like to go hunting pheasant, deer and other animals. I’d say there is more than 300 illegal firearms around clondalking you should be more worried about in the hands of cocaine fueled teenagers.

I’d say there is more than 300 illegal firearms around clondalking you should be more worried about in the hands of cocaine fueled teenagers.
They are now training them how to use them .Most people couldnt hit a football Stadium with a hand gun .Its not as easy as Clint Eastwood makes it look .Fairly high survival rate among gun shot wounds in carparks .

Most 14 to 16 year old are obliged to hold a firearm training cert if they are involved in shooting clubs, believe it or not certain powered airsoft weapons require them hence the high numbers for that age.

@ Tar I know of a Group of Gents who went to attend a Football match in a European Country and stayed on for a week to complete a fire arms training course .The same course is available in Dubai but costs about ten times more .Some of these Gents are worried that some outside groups with military expertise might try to take over their patch .The paranoia among some of these people is high and its only a matter of time before a serious OK Coral moment kicks off .
