I did a roadie gig with Go West in Cork about 12 years back. The lead singer fella was a proper stuck-up Fook, all the rest of the lads were great craic.

Not quiet that far, it was only a half kilometer trip from the gig in the Savoy to the Clarion hotel !
2 nights, 2 gigs, there and back and an airport transfer the next morning.

Maths wouldn't be my strong point, but I spotted a glaring mistake here:

Are Go West still together?
Across their career, they have released five studio albums, with a sixteen year gap between 2008 and 2013. They still perform as a band around the UK, and have both pursued solo careers as well.14 Feb 2018 8)

I dunno about all that SB, but I would have the date as late summer 2009.
