Doubt anybody would pull the plug--cant see any rush to press the flesh from Gov or Independants,maybe the Shinners as they are leading the poles,but would they even want to face the shit on the horizon--reckon all with sit tight for another 18 months hope things improve,bump up their pension entitlements--seldom a Winter election !

HERE ARE THE RUNNERS AND RIDERS FOR AN ELECTION BUDGET .Government wont last with a majority of Two .Look at the offer for SF voters ,Ie unemployed and on welfare .
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has pledged there will be “substantial supports” announced in the coming weeks to help households struggling to pay skyrocketing bills as inflation soars.
These will be announced as part of the €6.7bn Budget on September 27.
This year’s Budget is significant because it will have two parts to it - the Budget itself and a separate package of one-off cost-of-living measures which could total over €1.5bn.
Here are the measures being considered by ministers as discussions get underway in Government buildings:
Another €200 electricity credit
The Government signed off on a €100 electricity credit earlier this year as part of a cost-of-living package. This was later doubled to €200 at a cost of €400m to the taxpayer and was deducted from electricity bills in the spring.
Double child benefit payments
Despite criticism that the electricity credit is a blanket measure which is not targeted at people struggling the most, ministers are also considering a one-off doubling of the child benefit payment.
The move would be a huge boost to parents, who would be in line for a €280 one-off payment if they have one child, or €560 if they have two.

The Government hopes this would be a direct support to families and would also be made before Christmas.
Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe and Public Expenditure Minister Michael McGrath, who are responsible for controlling the State’s purse strings, are also considering a double payment of all welfare rates in the coming weeks.
The measure would be targeted at those on unemployment benefit who are hit hardest by sky-rocketing costs.
Ministers are examining whether a double payment of the State pension, jobseeker’s allowance, carer’s allowance and disability benefits, as well as other welfare supports, could be paid out. The payment would be alongside the annual Christmas bonus payment paid to all social welfare recipients.
The double payment of welfare rates is expected to be announced alongside an increase in weekly welfare payments, which may be as high as an additional €15 per week.
Tax breaks for landlords
The State is under pressure to act as unprecedented numbers of landlords continue to sell up and cash in on their properties with prices at Celtic Tiger levels amid a housing shortage. However, this continues to further shrink the rental market, meaning renters have fewer properties to live in.
Officials are looking at potentially reducing the high tax paid by landlords on their rental incomes, which can be over 50pc. However, they may only be able to avail of new tax reliefs if they offer long-term tenancies.

Supports for renters
Last year’s Budget faced criticism that it was not targeted to help renters in any way. This year, Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien is keen to put in place supports for renters. The Government is considering a tax credit for renters on their monthly outgoings.
Supports for schools
The Taoiseach has also vowed there will be supports for schools who are facing very high heating costs. He hinted to reporters in Offaly yesterday that this may be in additional funding through composite grants, which is used for day-to-day school costs.
“Schools will need supports to deal with the cost of energy in schools. Clearly, Government will help in all of that,” said Mr Martin. “We will go as far as we possibly can, in terms of resources we have and ensure we don’t make the inflation situation worse.”
Help for businesses
There have been calls for pandemic-style payments to help businesses hit with astronomical energy bills. One café in Athlone received an electricity bill of over €9,000 for one month. It is understood ministers are considering one-off credit payments to businesses for smaller enterprises.
Public transport
Public transport fares were cut by 20pc earlier this year as part of the first cost of living package in a move seen as a win for the Green Party. Independent.ie understands this reduction is likely to stay, or even be brought down further as part of the Budget.
If they can go to the country offering all these Goodies they might get a few seats extra but if they wait till next year when HUGE ESB and Gas bills fall through the letterbox and Cynide Tits is Buggering Leos Backpassage deal they will get wiped out .Its now or never .

The first in 1918 was held in December, of the 32 after that only 1 was held in October and 2 in November which is kinda understandable that politicians don't like to be out on the campaign trail in wintertime.

Shinners get the Most its almost a given they will win a seat in every Dublin Constituency two in some .Their problem is they mop up the Leftie vote .Just look at Labour and FF both as Bertie once said were Socialist Parties The Shinners have taken their Support from them .The extra seats SF will win will be from Profit From the People ,Indies and about 5 of the Green Seats .Mary Lou will bring in a running mate. Nessa Hourigan Greens loses Angous O snoddig brings in a running mate Paddy the Husband of the Chinease Lord Mayor loses .Talk in Dublin South Central is Leo might run there instead of Dublin West there is one Government seat there use to be Cathrine Byrne /Gay Mitchell/Jim Mitchell Seat .She lost out by a few hundred the last time to Joan Collins .her or the Communist from Ballyfermot wont be re elected .There is another bit of Politicing to be done .FF/FG know the Greens will be uprooted lucky to hold two or three seats .They will lose their influence on Policy and FF/FG can then ease off on the Greening of Farming and Killing of Cows .Sometimes you need to lose an election to win ,get rid of the Greens replace them with the Social Democrats who stand for nothing cant even pick between two people for leader .

Dail is due to vote on this Hourigan and Costello from the Greens will vote against it so will other Greens .Makes no sense Irish farmers have to make Carbon free meat while the Brazilians are burning down the Amazon .Government announce the programme of legislation for this session on Wednesday next week .If a vote on the Mercosour deal is included .I dont think this government will see Christmas .

Like I said I don't think SF will do as well as they did at the last poll as the next one.
A few reasons why they may be wearing thin with the electorate;
Leo gave Pearse Doherty a proper spanking in a dail argument that Doherty started and Leo was unprepared fer.
Mary Lou screaming fer more houses while SF were objecting to almost every new housing developement being proposed by the current Gov.
In general SF's pedantic and 'acting the maggot' approach to most dail matters.
Granted, they are a great opposition party, but that's about it !
And I think the public will see it.

Europe buys cheap food from South America that is not made with the same standards as home made stuff .And if we complain they can Sue us for breach of Contract .In an International Court .So Irish Law would be second to some unknown Law .

I see the Trator is trying to fuck over his Government partners by insisting the Deal to make him Queen for the second time should only make him Queen but Paggo should remain Finance Minister .The two faced low life Scumbag cant keep his word .He knows what the deal was to make him Queen . He is not winning friends in FF by backtracking on any deal.The whisper is Mc Sharry might not support the Budget if there is not 100% redress for the wobbly bricks .If that happens and all the opposition vote against the budget themn the Government need the casting vote of the Ceann Charlath to pass the budget .

Thousands of students on college campuses throughout the country have participated in a national walkout in protest at the cost of living and accommodation crises.
Students left lecture theatres at 11:11am and gathered in college squares and other open spaces.

Yeh watched that .Some girl said although she was an Irish Citizen she had to pay fees and if she was found she would be deported .So she went on telly to tell everybody .EDUCATION wasted there .Farmers havent got angry yet ?
