Where does the Driver stand ? On two counts it was a Free Now client that attacked him .Now the other issue .They kicked fuck out of the screen and it broke .Was the Screen supplied on a recommendation by free now .What was it constructed from .I posted at the outset of Screen Mania revenge of the Covid that screens should be made of conforming Polycarbonate not Perspex' as it shatters .Can you imagine if one of those shards of broken screen pierced the drivers nech and severed his artery he could of been dead in minutes .I manufactured my own bespoke Polycarbonate shatterproof screen with elasticated restraints that would not hinder side impact airbags .The only screen I have seen that would meet any stringent test .

Here is a question for the legal eagles .Big Dommo uses his Free Now account to get a taxi for Slasher Foley and Slasher attacks the Driver .Now does the driver have any comeback by saying I took this job because Dommo was a VIP customer .I was duped .Can he claim Free Now or Big Dommo for his injuries ?[Bubba }?

Story says driver was only 31 yrs old. As someone said, he must have been a newbie thinking the 2 cnuts would behave themselves as he drove them to the Garda station! I guess he won't be referring his mates to join FN for a bonus fee!

Unlikely, FN will say that they are just a 3rd party and Dommo was a 4th party, and refer the driver to the Gardai.

Re your screen question: We're great in this country at making laws and not enforcing them. The screens were an Irish solution to an Irish problem. Everyone (incl the insurance companies) turned a blind eye to them and hoped for the best. And it seems to have worked if this is the first reported story about them.

I'd go with the idea that FN are just an intermediary and it's up to you to confirm it's Dommo and not Slasher in the taxi. There is a pop-up message reminding you to confirm you have the right passenger. FN would argue it's your mistake, therefore your problem?
Having said that, I've gotten jobs from guys kicking out their nightclub conquest the next morning and vice versa. I judge the guy harshly if he books a taxi for the girl and makes it a cash job. Cheap fekker >:D

Where is the problem that you are making up ?
The screen broke, nobody's neck was pierced, nobody's artery was severed and nobody died,
and we don't know what the screen was made from !

I nearly had a fare last night, I was just leaving the Northside heading back to civilisation and this fella half waves at me and then shouts; "Hey Taxi dere ....." and I applied the brakes.
Then he added the word "Boss" to the end of his exclamation and I released the brake and hit the accelerator ....
