Now Check out the Map for Chinas Proposed Belt and Road .They need part of Ukraine to join up to the European Marketplace ..Half a Million Dead people just to build a rail line ?Now Look all of Asia and Africa and Europe joined up by Rail or Road .That leaves America and Australia and Japan  adrift in the Sea disconnected from direct access .

I think the rout is one you can Walk so not using a boat to cross water or flying .
