Great footage, but how many of them lads are alive today eh? 8)

How many of them Lads would of went around to Barneys for a few pints and a Whiskey chaser during the Lunch break .Forman probably had to send the Nipper round to get the lads back on site after the dinner break .

Formerly the Liffey Bar, bombed in 1972. I had my first pints in Barney's in 1975. Smithwicks too.

I remember going to the toilets and an oulfella was pouring a pint of Smithwicks into the urinal. I asked him why?  He said, "I'm fed up being the middle man"!! 8)
