Title: Pub Pickups
Post by: John m on June 11, 2023, 10:35:50 am
Pain in my bollox answering Pub Pickups .Now I wait one minute then Cancel or cancel when I arrive and drive off .Cunts asking the barman to call a taxi when they still have a Pint to finish and think you are supposed to wait for them .Or you arrive and there are multi passengers fighting that the barman called you for them .

You dont Know its an Arthur Scargiller until you accept the Job .Sarsfield Road might be anywhere from the Applegreen to the Model School including a big Appartment block so you take it before you know its Clearys .Usually states Reliable Customer based on how often I cancel I dont know how they are Reliable .

When I used to work the app if I accepted a job and it was a pub I'd cancel straight away and boot off in the opposite direction.

Ya get to know them after a while, fer me Maiville terrace is the beer garden pub and Erin terrace is the Turners cross tavern, Etc.
Usually a cash job and reliable customer status is a pub.
Also you can expand the map to see exactly where on the road your customer is located.
I do take the odd one but give very little leeway on the waiting time.

Still there. I accepted and cancelled one over the weekend, can't remember the bar but it was up above in Dublin, possibly the Belcamp....

Good !  That would mean that I have successfully blocked ALL the pubs with bed logo's !

There was no bed logo on the one I was offered, not all pubs get paid. Drivers might be - well, clearly are - thick enough to pay for drunks from the likes of the Belcamp and the Priorswood... Free Now aren't.

I would take a chance on a cash pub job if it didn't have a bed logo or the 'call to the bar' reference, and if it was non-jungle hours and if it was less than a km away with a non-Hollywood name, and even with all that criteria filled they wouldn't be getting much leeway on time.

Carew has a bed logo from the Beaumont House. I don't think the Beller does. Most jobs from there go to the N32, ye get me bro? yeah, fresh!! 8)
