Not what I would of expected from you Silver .Young lad riddled to death on his doorstep .Probably had mental health issues .If he was a white kid from Castlenock the Gards would be into their second year of a life sentence .Two and a half years to deside if they could cover it up or not .The lad down the road from this incident who shot at the Gards in into his second year of lockup .There cannot be any excuse for taking somebodies life if there were other options .

The pepper spray and tazer didnt work so play stupid games win stupid prizes. How would they know he had mental health issues? and even if they did, you cant let someone stab you to death just because they have mental health issues.

A WOMAN who stabbed a father-of-seven to death during a psychotic episode has been given an eight-year jail sentence for his manslaughter.
Christina Anderson had the sentence for killing Gareth Kelly handed down at the Central Criminal Court today.
Judge Karen O'Connor sentenced her to 11 years imprisonment but suspended three years.
The judge said it had been a fatal attack of a "ferocious nature" and the court had to mark the damage caused to those left behind. She said Anderson's behaviour had been "highly dominated by her mental condition" and this was the most significant mitigating factor."
Anderson, a mother-of-three of Brownsbarn Wood, Kingswood, Dublin 22, stabbed Mr Kelly five times as he tried to start his car outside her home at about 7am on the morning of February 25, 2020.
The victim (38) had never met Anderson (41) and was trying to start his car on his way to work when she approached him and stabbed him five times, fatally injuring him.

She pleaded guilty to manslaughter by reason of insanity and a murder charge was withdrawn by the prosecution.
At a pre-sentence hearing last month Mr Kelly's partner Maria Murphy described the deceased as a loving dad with a "cheeky smile" who was adored by his children.
A jury had heard that a central issue was whether Anderson's actions when she repeatedly stabbed Gareth Kelly were driven by mental illness or by cannabis intoxication.
The State accepted that Anderson was undergoing a psychotic episode at the time of the killing and cannabis intoxication "does not feature" in the case. Anderson currently remains in the Central Mental Hospital undergoing treatment.

Badly trained Gardai IMHO. By all accounts there were enough of them there to use alternative methods, probably enought time to get a net FFS. I believe reports said that the knife was not particularly lethal. Lugs Brannigan wouldn't have needed to shoot him if you want rough justice. Was he shot in the back? I will declare the large block of wood on my shoulder when it comes to "The guardians of the peace".

That George guys friend was stabbed to death but lets all feel sorry for him because he was slashing at Guards for no reason with a knife.

I wish I hadn't read that. There is always something wrong with women isn't there. :( they seem to have really bad health compared to men or am I wrong?
I remember carrying this one before and she was telling me she has some condition where she ends up in hospital often enough, then she started texting me and asked me out. She was good looking but seemed a bit of a knacker, had a scumbag ex who she had a kid with and then the fact she would be in hospital half the time. I told her I was happy being single.

Totally agreed, the scum of this country are slowly taking over, if the Guard mentiond above and the Guard that chased the knacker on the Dublin motorway get convicted then it will be a free-fer-all fer the scum of this country with the Gardai afraid to protect the innocent civilians.

In general white Irish by accident of birth taxi drivers would be viewed as racist. In practice, in my experience, that's a somewhat unfair generalisation. Why would one work in a trade that is second only to the security trade in it's licensing of immigrants if one were racist. Surely that would create a terribly stressful existence? On the other hand there are many examples of institutional racism on the part of the judiciary - remember the Garda who physically and verbally assaulted an immigrant taxi driver being let off scott free, for example - and on the part of Gardai - keep remembering what the judiciary consider acceptable behaviour and wonder no more why that is the case.

I would have thought watching immigrants take their jobs and their wimen would cause stress, T1990. Also, anecdotal evidence suggests middle class birds looking for a bit of rough are more likely to seek out black drivers these days which I guess at least irritates those white drivers who may have enjoyed accommodating the same in years gone by.
