AS the busy summer season begins at Dublin Airport, there is a little-known hack for those looking for a taxi.
There is nothing worse than coming off a long flight only to realise that you have forgotten to book a taxi.

And then, to make matters even worse, the taxi pick-up zone is often too busy to find a cab last minute.
With the Irish airport seeing a whopping 3.05 million passengers travel during May, the struggle for a taxi is very real.
Thankfully there is a section of the Dublin Airport car park specifically designated for Free Now drivers.
On the website, Free Now said: "Just landed at Dublin Airport? Whether you’re heading home or to a hotel, we’re waiting to get you from A to B, hassle free!"
The pickup point at Zone 18 is just for Free Now taxis, and those returning from holidays can book a trip easily on the app.
The handy spot is located within a short walking distance from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
Free Now added: "Our taxi pickup location at Dublin Airport is at the Zone 18 car park.
"You can order a taxi once you have landed, follow the walking directions in app and meet your driver there."
This hack will save time queuing for other taxis in the busy pick-up points.
Similarly, a taxi driver revealed a secret way to get a ride if there isn't one available at the rank at Dublin Airport.
Posting on TikTok as @taxisindublin, the man shared a handy trick that could help those arriving back to Ireland save themselves some time.
The TikToker's helpful hack shows that you only have to walk a short distance for a lift instead of waiting for hours at the taxi rank.
TAXI TIPS
He said: "So when there are no taxis, you follow me.
"So you follow me down to zone 18 and just basically go opposite the taxi rank direction down to the car park.
"When you come there are all these bus stops you will see and on this side is the drop off point for terminal two.
"And when you see a sign for zone 17 to zone 18, we're going to zone 18.
"All these taxis that drop people off will be free to take more people."
Wen you reach zone 18, it should be full of taxis that can take you wherever you want to go.

You park up get job pay minimum 1.50 to get out .If you are there over 1 hour it could be 7 euro ransome to escape .

last december there was a week of freezin cold weather.
i had a free now pick up at zone 18. 3am monday mornin.
i was sleep deprived and i was like a zombie and i could'nt remember where zone 18 was. i kept doing loops of terminal one sayin it will turn up. finally realised it was at the end of terminal two. the yoke kept ringin me. where are ye. where are ye. i took a left in to zone 18. the barrier was frosted over in ice and snow. did'nt see it and it thumped the windscreen and went up and over and clothes lined the roof sign off the car. big scratch on the roof of my new car. fuckin scarlet i was in front of loadsa gimps waitin for their taxis to arrive. i've been a bit iffy ever since. i usually just tell people i'm at the entrance. haul all your bollocks over here to me i'm not goin in there.

Happened me at the tunnel wen me eflow balance was in deficit.....barrier came down like a ton o bricks an wacked me windscreen...very embarrassing....it immediately retracted but the message was clear ...." your a cnut an you havnt paid "
